CAREERpath

Born in Annecy in 1968, the steep mountains plunging directly into the lake evoked early on the taste for utilizing contrasts and reliefs.  Several Parisian art schools preceded and accompanied his professional career path of perfecting his technique; everything is arranged around the quest for light and volumes.

Having an industrial approach to volume from his professional schooling in design, he works mostly in steel and glass. As for painting, he uses oils with as much ravishment as acrylics.

His numerous trips and the stories about them, whether to Europe, Africa, Asia or to the US, provide fodder for his thoughts and bring with them intuitive and dense directions to follow.

His need to paint and sculpt coupled with his desire to find new media and the will to go farther and upward, brought him to establish an atelier close to Paris a few years ago. There, he was finally able to find a place for his paintbrush, soldering iron and blowtorch, this space being interspersed with many materials that serve to charge and enrich his artistic imagination.

His paintings and sculptures, photographs, audio elements, video projections and the use of nomad technology  all stand and just work together, making his expositions into multi-media artistic events.
